We offer a bespoke design package for each garden. We are flexible with the services we can provide allowing our clients to tailor their own individual design package according to their needs.

Mood Board
All projects start with a mood board. This is an opportunity to create a point of reference to spark the initial dialogue. It can sometimes be a process of elimination with a focus on creating an imagined atmosphere and mood. It is an opportunity to explore textures, materials and a sense of aesthetic.
Pencil Sketches
Once we have a clearer idea of the atmosphere of the garden we move onto loose hand-drawn sketches to help zone the space and understand the journey through the garden.
2D Hand-drawn designs
This stage consolidates the previous loose sketches incorporating basic measurements, details and colour.
3D Visuals
Proceeding with a 3D computer visualisation will further enhance the impression. This enables the client to view the garden from all angles including textures and planting to get a true sense of how the garden will appear.
Construction Drawings
Once the client is happy with the concept stage, we are able to produce the construction drawings along with the invaluable specification document. Both of these enable the landscaper to provide a detailed and accurate quote. If planning is required the application can be submitted at this stage.
Choosing the contractor
We have built strong relationships with teams of highly skilled landscape contractors who have expertise in planting, irrigation, drainage and exterior materials. We will recommend the best match taking into account the site location and specifications.
NB - General builders, as a rule, do not have the requisite expertise.
The Tendering process
There may need to be some adjustments to the quote and revisions to the design in order to meet the budget. We will liaise between the contractor and client to ensure the design is modified in keeping with the original concept until a price is agreed.
Planting Plan
As part of the 2D construction drawings, we prepare a planting plan and planting mood board. This ensures that you are happy with the palette and tone of planting and enables the nursery to quote for the number of plants required. Specific trees and plants will be sourced and hand tagged by our team to ensure the best quality plants are selected.
The Construction Phase
Once the contractors are on site we will be in close contact to clarify any questions as the build progresses. When the hard landscaping is complete we will arrange the delivery of plants and trees to site and place them as per the planting plan. The landscapers will then proceed with planting.
Finishing touches
This includes a lighting plan to subtly enhance the planting, creating an atmospheric space. Final details are very important and we are always happy to help with furniture and accessory selection as part of our service.
